Multiple Teams · Bull Collar: December

Congratulations to Boys Basketball player Brandon Caruso and Cheerleader Sophie Marosvari for winning the Bull Collar Award for the month of December.

Brandon was nominated by Head Varsity Coach Jon Nettleton.  Coach Nettleton commented that, “To me “Bull Collar” stands for doing what is needed each and every day without being asked. Every day Brandon comes to practice to get better, he is very each to coach and wants to improve every time he steps on the court. He might not lead us in the flashy statistical categories but it is hard to take him off the floor as his defense is very good.  Brandon has sacrificed scoring for the better of the team and because of this we have started off the season 8-2.”

Our head Cheer coach Connie Condie proudly nominated Sophie.  Of Sophie, Coach Condie says that, “Sophie is such a fun loving, dynamic girl. She is the type of athlete that every coach dreams of. She gives her heart and soul to the sport/activity and possesses the most amazing work ethic. Sophie is always on time, always offering to help set up, tear down and just be there whenever we need her to be. She keeps a positive countenance at all times and just doesn’t allow the outside world to diminish her attitude.  She is a Varsity member that is absolutely leading by example. She often cheers for both JV and additional Varsity games that she is not assigned to.  She is committed to excellence and to the Cheer program. She only wants the best for everyone and is a complete treasure. She epitomizes the Bull Collar award.”
